They offer brunch, lunch, and dinner in meals. They have traditional dishes on the list that you will not find anywhere else. They have a lot of gluten-free options, as well. Their salad and BBQ is a must try out. Haleem is also rich in taste. They have a variety of food items that range from fried rice to nihari. Many things, such as kebabs, are pretty good.
They have a good selection of desserts. They have wide options in sweets as well, like kulfi, Gulab jaman, toonti, etc. The dessert corner is incredible. The cart with the stick type kulfi ice cream is fantastic. They have a massive variety of good Pakistani food. The menu includes almost everything you might think of. The food is neither very hot nor overly spicy; instead, it is Pakistani spot where one feels stuffed soon.
Sehri Buffet is delightful and up to the restaurant’s reputation. In addition to Pakistani cuisine, they also have Chinese dishes. They have excellent cuisine for the sweet-toothed. They also have ‘Paan,’ a mouthful that is wrapped into a leaf. It is sweet and kind of mouth freshener. Apart from the main course and starter’s goodness, they also have a great variety in local desserts.
This restaurant delivers authentic Lahori and Pakistani dishes. It is the type of buffet-style spot having a tasty variety in local foods, mutton, chicken, fresh vegetables, and starters. They have a good list of vegetarian offerings. All the food items are cooked traditionally with a perfect blend of spices and flavors. Their vegetarian dish, like Kulfa Gosht, is very delicious that is cooked with adding great texture to it.
They also serve the Aftari buffet before dinner. The place is overcrowded in Ramadan, and management is hard to control the orders in Iftari time. The good thing is they provide a proper place to say Namaz. Have a reservation before going for Iftar.
Atmosphere and Interior
Ambiance is good. They have live musicians with Pakistani instruments. The exterior of the spot reminds of an old village setting in Pakistan. The building looks like a Mesa shaped place, with the thick diamond style colored glass windows. Walls are like earthen style, which prevents heat and keeps the fresh air in. There is live music for guests.
The place is incredibly carried; the entire spot feels homely and welcoming. Some artists sing old and new songs. The restaurant-style is like a traditional Punjabi house. Inside the place, there were a lot of old accessories for village life i.e., traditional kites, etc. They have customized tables for guests. A candy maker was making candies.
It is a family place with a pleasant atmosphere and many local vibes in general. Customers bring family and kids. They give toys to kids as well. Children have a great time at the restaurant. The sot is cheerful and cheap with good quality food.
The waiting area is downstairs. There are cultural and traditional artifacts and handicrafts of village life on the walls. Mostly the restaurant is occupied. But the place is not so noisy and distracting. Due to a large crowd, the area seems a bit congested. They need a bit more tidiness and cleanliness.
Staff and Service
The manager and staff are welcoming and polite. The team does not speak more in English, but they are friendly and good at recommending the flavors. The service is a bit slow. It takes almost thirty minutes to receive the order. The restaurant offers seating, reservations, validated parking, wheelchair, highchairs, and table services.
Quality and Standards
The restaurant has revolutionized the dining experience in Lahore. This place has consistently maintained the same taste over the years. So there is a need to add some different variety in flavors and taste. There is a big crowd during dinner and on weekends. So, it’s better to have reservations before the visit.
The restaurant theme resembles village life. This place has introduced a new ‘Live Buffet’ concept where food is prepared in front of customers like in the ‘bazaar’ atmosphere. Overall the restaurant is not usually recommended for the families on holidays and Ramadan because the place becomes overcrowded.
